Hacking your startup before it hacks you! Go for your riskiest hypotheses first

  • January 9 · 7:00 PM

Are you aware of your riskiest hypotheses?

What to do with them?

How to deal with that?

Lets open the discussion peer-to-peer. A brief introduction of the group and the Lean Startup Method will be the start of the meetup. After that, entrepreneurs (YOU) are invited to present their projects, startups or early ideas in a 5-minutes pitch addressing the problem, the solution and the hypothetic business model.

Right after, the entrepreneur can ask something to the audience: a query, a challenge, a business hypotheses... anything that it would be worthy to discuss and will help him/her to go forward.

The audience can give answers, solutions and feedback. All in a positive and respectful way. We are all here to learn from others.

Beers and more

We always have beers from the sponsor, Moritz. And we try our best to be scheduled and save some time at the end for talks, meeting people and networking.

See you there!

As a first-timer, the first part was a bit confusing, but that just may be wrong expectations on my part. 15 minute wait, 30 minute housekeeping about the group, 15 minutes of beers. None of it seemed related to 'go for your riskiest hypotheses first'. Maybe this is normal for a first-of-the-new-year meetup? On the other hand it seemed early on that more than half of the audience were new?

It got interesting for me in the second part, and I enjoyed hearing good business ideas, and hearing the audience give feedback on these.

I'm curious about some of the workshops.

Great atmosphere and a friendly exchange of ideas that can help people defend their ideas and hopefully get them to evolve into real-life products. Looking forward to attending the next meetup of this group.

p.s. I just saw an article about this new Japanese product release so I thought I might just share the link in case anyone gets inspiration for their breakthrough idea... http://youtu.be/gRZHoegjssA

      Hi Miguel!

    • Veronica Torras

Yes, we do it in Englsih because we find the English is the international language for Lean Satartup communities. However, if you have a minimum of this language I am sure you will follow most of the conversation. I hope that you will try!

I am interested but is mandatory to present some idea or project?

    January 2

    • Veronica Torras

Hi Marc! No, is not mandatory. We wouldn't have enough time if we would present all of us :)

      January 2

    • Veronica Torras

I advice to come and see how it works, and then you can decide if you want to present any future day or just to come and participate. See you!
