Hugh, there's no meet-up next week. Arbind's on vacation.

Really feeling 'in-the-flow' the last two sessions. Glad I found this Meet-Up, and liking the way the material is organized: Setup / Git / Heroku first, then really dive into coding.

Hey all.. If you haven't already and you get a chance then go ahead and setup your development environment for rails: Mac: http://www.rubyonrails.la/setup_rails/development_environment_mac

    Win: http://www.rubyonrails.la/setup_rails/development_environment_windows

    Linux: http://www.rubyonrails.la/setup_rails/development_environment_linux

Feel free to do this when you come to the meetup especially if you get stuck on something.

Otherwise its just a lot of downloading and configuring and setting up that you could also do at on your own!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
