Hi there - are any other Nuby's going? Curious because I don't currently have any projects I'm working on, but would love to work through a book or something with fellow learners.

Yeah, I'm a n00b and I'm going through Peter Cooper's Beginning Ruby book, if that's interesting to you.
I'm using Chris Pine's Learn to Program. I'm sure the content is largely the same.
Both of those books are great. The Peter Cooper book is a bit more detailed and has more content. I would recommend that book if you know (for example) what a method is and how to write one. Chris Pine's book is much better, especially for those totally new to programming concepts.
I'm a noob as well, I'm going through Peter's book too.
Oh great - I'll pick up a copy for tomorrow
One more at the Ruby-Nuby table. I'm beginning Peter's book.
