CHA CHA WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNING TO EXPERIENCED DANCERS!
Our Cha Cha Workshop in February was a huge success, so we're planning to do another workshop on Saturday, March 29th from 10am-12pm!
Beginning and experienced dancers welcome! No partner needed to attend. Great mix of singles and couples. Always a fun group of people!
Please RSVP on our calendar, so everyone can see who is planning on attending. This helps to promote gender balance, encourages others to attend, and it helps us plan our workshop too.
COST: $15 per person, if paid by Saturday, March 22nd at 10am or $20 per person after March 22nd. Call Spectrum at[masked] to make arrangements for payment. (Visa and MasterCard accepted.) New students should arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out the paperwork required by Spectrum.
DESCRIPTION: After a group warm-up, two classes will take place simultaneously. One class will be for beginners and the other class will be for experienced dancers. Richard will teach one class and Debbie the other. What will be taught in each class will be demonstrated and you can pick which group best suits your level. Fun for everyone!
PERFORMANCE ROUTINE: Interested in learning a group cha cha performance routine? The experienced group at this workshop will be learning a series of figures that can be danced socially and, also, can be danced in a routine that will be performed at a Halloween venue next October. More details about the performance routine will be given at this workshop; however, in the meantime, if you are interested in finding out more about our performance group and have questions about how this works, feel free to email us through our meetup group. We would love to have more people join us! This routine is super-fun and will be danced to 'Disturbia' by Rihanna.
WHAT IS CHA CHA? Cha Cha is a fun, playful Latin dance that can be danced to a variety of music. Here's an entertaining perfomance routine, so you can see what cha cha looks like when danced at a professional level.
Make plans to cha cha with us in March!
