Hi all!, My name is Allissa Pietrowski. I am 22 years old and I am in the process of moving down to Dallas, Texas, in the Plano area. I came to visit Dallas in March. My cousin and his wife moved down here. I absolutely fell in love and I am back looking for apartments and jobs. This is exciting. I feel that I need a change in my life. About a year ago, I lost my mother to breast cancer. I can't believe it has been over a year since I have seen her beautiful face. As the days turned into weeks, weeks to months, and months to a year, I learned that I felt most comfortable around people who had been through the same situation as myself. It was a sense of comfort knowing that a person could feel the same way you do. It was a comfort knowing that I wasn't alone in this and I wasn't the only person in the world who felt this pain. My goal is provide a place where people can meet and be together, not necessarily talk about your loss all the time, but a place where in the back of your mind, you are able to put away feeing like an outcast and just be. I want people to find connections with someone else and as my mom use to say, 'find the good in a bad situation". As I am in the process of moving to Texas, I would love to start up a group in late August, where people can meet. I hope you find this and say, "I think this could be good".
I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
