Python Lab

This is not a lecture-- I won't be teaching any new material.

This is a lab, where practice problems will be provided and everyone can just work with what they've learned so far.

If you have any questions or run into any problems, there will be multiple people there to help you one on one.  It doesn't matter if you've been to class or not-- it's just a chance to work on Python and get help, no matter where you're at.

This event has a $2 RSVP fee on it because I need an accurate count of how many people are coming so I know how many assistants to look for-- when there's a small fee, people don't just RSVP if they're not actually intending to come.

It was great as always. I thought having some wrap up time in which we discuss how we solved things may be interesting. Boston Clojure group was doing that using this Hackpad thing (like GoogleDoc).

      I think that's a sound suggestion.

In fact, I think I'll make discussions for the practice problems, for people to use. Somehow I don't foresee heavy use of it, but you never know.

3 of us are coming from central mass, and we drive to alewife and take the T in so that's already a lot of money to just get there... Is it alright if we still come?

Sorry, I had every intention of going but I generally avoid online payments, plus I'm already paying about $25 a class since I commute from the cape.

Yeah. As noted, I only do that with labs so I can get an accurate count of people coming.
