Project Workday and Crop

Come join us and crop the day away! Please feel free to invite a friend!

Everyone will have a full table to themselves - no crowding! The lighting is also fantastic!

Electricity is available for your Cricut and/or computer. Free WiFi is also available.

Bring a sack lunch. Coffee, water, hot chocolate and hot/iced tea is provided. We are also free to use the refrigerator if we don't take much room.

The cost is $5 plus a dish to share. It is helpful if you post what you are bringing so that we don't have duplicates and so that someone could bring a complementary item.

We already have several bags of assorted chips left from the weekend crop so unless it is tortilla chips with salsa/toppings, another snack or dessert would be a better choice.

The optional class is an Envelope Punch Board class.  In January 2013 this board was introduced at CHA (Craft & Hobby Association).  The first ones were shipped to local independent scrapbook and craft stores in March and were so popular that the first shipment sold out almost as soon as they reached the stores.  This board can be used for much more than envelopes.

We will use the board to create three 3-D projects and learn how to make an envelope. The cost of the class is $22 which INCLUDES the punch board (retail value is $19.99). If you pay by December 4 it will be here in time for the class. If you don't, you will have to share mine (I own two) for the class. I have been playing with it since I got mine in March and LOVE it! Next to my trimmer, it is my favorite tool (and those of you who know me, know I LOVE my tools! lol).

If you are taking the class, please make sure to RSVP because I will probably only make one extra kit.

As always, I will have my Big Shot, embossing folders and dies. I will bring a selection of punches as well.

Come prepared to work! We all have projects we are working on - so bring what you need along. Even if you didn't want to crop this month, feel free to bring what you are working on - even if it's jewelry, knitting or crocheting or whatever!

I look forward to seeing you! Let's take this time to Get 'er Done!

Hi Karin, I am hoping to come tomorrow. I am sorry I did not contact you regarding the envelope board, I spoke to my sister-in-law and she could not come and did not want to make the "Christmas Crackers" I am just going to continue scraping and get what I have put into my books.
What would you like me to bring to share tomorrow?

That's fine. People really seem to like the fruit and cheese that you usually bring, so that would be perfect!

Janet - I noticed your posts were put on the 28th crop. I plan on staying until about 6 in the morning. Feel free to drop your things off and then come late to work on your "stuff"!

Finally! We want to see the finished product! Does this mean you are done with cards for the year?

If you are interested in doing the punch board class but either own your own board or want to use mine, please let me know. The cost of the class will be $12. There will be at least FOUR 3-D items plus an envelope. If you decided you want to purchase the board the class will be $22 and I will order the board this weekend.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
