Let's meet up and go for a ghost walk in York this Friday!

There are a bunch of ghost walks in York, scary or humorous, with heavy audience participation or informative and finely narrated by a guide, loved by tourists and locals alike. Some of them happen every evening, others only on saturdays.

The ghost walk i suggest is distinguished for its fine storytelling and is very popular, ranked no.2 activity to do in York by Tripadvisor.co.uk.It is called the 'York Terror Trail' and starts every evening 6.45pm at the York's most haunted pub 'The Golden Fleece inn'.It lasts around an hour and the cost is 5 pounds. The audience is taken to a few places in York town centre while entertained, until eventually back to the pub where it started-which is a good case to have a drink or two, chill out, discuss the walk for an hour, then catch the one of the last trains home:)

Please let me know what you think below, whether you prefer a different walk or a saturday evening instead. Also I suggest we meet at 6pm (45min in advance) and have a drink, mingle a little and gather up our group for the walk.Mind you it can be very busy with lots of other people from all over coming to join the walk,or not as busy, either way should be fun! :))

Great evening with Nadia, Lily, Aden and of course Julian..! The Ghost walk itself was something of a historical tour of York with all gruesome details included. Afterwards drinks just above the river Ouse where we witnessed an almost drowning as the cherry on the pie!

Hi Lily, looks good but can't do Friday. Have fun and maybe you'll be repeating this another time

Hey Lily! Another great idea of yours. York has quite a few taverns over the water - it's a historical town - worth a visit, as much as the walk. It'll probably be sunny! Munher: a return ticket with the Coastliner is only 5 pound from Leeds City bus station:

But then Aden might take you there too.

    Ciao! #

Hey Lily another good one! The horror theme continues!

At this rate you will soon be promoted to a permanent event organiser :)

I have the Friday off, maybe someone may want to drive there so we could share costs?
