The Eduardo Niebla Experience, Garforth

“A display of supernatural talent…and a spellbinding mixture of flamenco and modern jazz, bursting with obvious passion and verve.” The Spectator

Eduardo Niebla will perform with his quartet including a guitar accompanist, Indian tabla player and violinist. Supporting him will be performances by the St Mary's Church Choir, Gleeds Choir and the Arts Live Youth Choir. Having taken part in workshops with Eduardo and his quartet, these choirs will then perform specially arranged versions of Eduardo's compositions. This event promises to be a really special concert featuring international artists performing with musicians from the local community of all ages. Don't miss out!

Absolutely stunning performance by Eduardo Niebla and the Garforth Academy Choir tonight. Eduardo's jazz and flamenco fusion was amazing, and the choir performing Skyfall - with one of the young lads whistling the Bond rift in the background was inspiring! I'm so proud of Garforth Arts Festival for enabling this concert, and that I am a part of this community.

WOW! I love this man!! I've seen him in several configurations over the years, the last time was in Edinburgh last year and it was one of my highlights. He's always evolving and pushing the boundaries...really hope i get to see this, it sounds so exciting!

I'm going to get my ticket tomorrow, as I suspect it will sell out. A Cuban choir did at last year's festival, within days. Cheers Karen
