Yes the music venues were comfy and intimate, the bands talented and unique ; pretty good indeed. I am impressed with this meetup group!
The fall were a wickedly good way to end the day!

I would never have predicted that Long Division would top Live at Leeds. It was a lot more chilled, no queues (except slight one for The Fall). Smaller, more intimate venues, with character (particularly The Orangery and the Old Library). All close together, so easy to wander meaning you can catch the start of a gig and if not your thing, still have time to get to another without rushing. Just how a festival should be, with a bit of comedy and art thrown in too.

Thanks for the company, really enjoyed it. Great photos as usual Karen! And the music was good too, saw a real variety.

Hello all, I'm just home - sorry I never got chance to say goodbye. I came back from following the perfume lady to the The Orangery, enjoyed a bit of whoever they were - something about a boyfriend - couldn't find you, phone completely dead, so got the train back.

Just as everything was starting to sound really interesting around Wakey... but I did see 6 bands... result!

Off to peruse Gorilla perfumes now Tracey.

Hope to see you all again soon, and thanks for a wonderful day.

I'll aim to get to the Hop for 12.30 - I've got a schedule planned, but it will likely change on the day. See you all on Sat[masked] in case we don't link up.

Hi Tracey, sorry I haven't been in touch, up to my neck in it since I got back from Cyprus! I have moved my client meeting earlier to midday, but don't think I will hit Wakey until after 1pm, so I will text you and see where you are!

It's a possibility as it's just down the road. Plus the venues are all close together. I'm off to check out who's on.
