What happened when Churchill met Hitler in the afterlife? Did they eat jam sandwiches together, play or game of chess, or hold a debate in order to understand one another's point of view? Find out in this new play by Tony Tortora!
Q: What’s the group about? A: It's about bringing music and art lovers together for an eclectic range of gigs, concerts, plays, exhibitions, comedy shows, social gatherings, and any other form of arts event. Most activities are in the Leeds and surrounding area but not limited to that.
Q: Is it free to join? A: Yes. Meetup does, however, charge around £45/50 every 6 months, paid by the organiser, to host the group. Occasional voluntarily contributions from members help to keep the group going.
Q: I have an idea for an event, what do I do? A: All group members are encouraged to post and host their own events. Simply click on the Schedule New Meetup link and fill in the details. Please do not post events that you're promoting but have no intention of attending.
Q: Do I have to get my own ticket and, if so, where do I buy them from? A: Yes. Tickets for most Leeds based gigs are available from Jumbo Records and Crash Records In buying from these sites you’ll be supporting local independent record shops. Most venues and artists have their own websites with information on where to get tickets and there are various mainstream ticketing websites that can be found on Google
Q: I've said I'm going but can no longer make it. A: Be courteous to the other attendees and change your RSVP to not going so they know not to expect you.
Q: Someone on the group is sending me annoying/abusive messages, what can I do? A: Contact one of the group's organisers and they’ll look into it and take appropriate action.
