Pokey LaFarge @ Brudenell

This was a tip off from a stateside friend of mine but it seems they are no stranger to these shores having featured on Jools Holland's Hootenanny. They are steeped in Mississippi delta blues and Americana.

I have bought my ticket now. The cold nights of November will be warmed up by this gig I reckon!

It took 30 seconds of listening to know they are right up my street, I hope the tickets don't sell out!

Do I need to buy a ticket in advance? How?

    August 16, 2013

    • Tony S.

You can usually buy tickets on the door unless it sells out. Jumbo Records and Crash Records in Leeds sell tickets in store or online.

I can't culturally connect with the lyrics, but I play a ukelele banjo and was tempted to do a slow charleston when I listened to the band.

Maybe. Last year he had just been on t'telly and it sold out insanely fast.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
