Got there a little late, but a game of Pandemic was just wrapping up. Jess and I jumped in with Jeff, Matt, and Nate to learn Wizard (a nice trick taking card game), then a game of Oasis (with four of the players within 3 points of each other, I was a pathetic last place, but still enjoyed it), and two rounds of No Thanks. Enjoyed being back at the BAPL, although the recommended donation seemed high for couples. We're hoping that won't be expected every month.

You missed the beginning where I laid out the costs. Meetup costs $36 for the first 6 months (and $72 for every 6 months after that) and 5 hours at the library costs $39.75. I personally donated $40. With all the money I took in we should be good to operate for the next 3 months. Thank you for your donation and no, we would not expect you to donate that every month, and we would never ask you to donate more than you feel comfortable with.

Another option, if meetup becomes prohibitive is to do a private group on Facebook. We do this with another group to which I belong, and it works really well with no cost.

Unless the library itself is closed we'll still be having our meeting. It's hard enough to schedule these things and it'd be another month before I could reschedule. You can park underneath the library on Saturdays despite all the 'KEEP OUT' signs.

Jess and I are planning to attend. Jess may have to cancel last minute, but I should still make it.
