What is the biggest risk of a start-up? Time/Money? No. The biggest risk is building almost the right thing.
It is so important in the early days to find out what parts of your value proposition resonates with customers and where are points are that cause them to leave your site, possibly never to return. Metrics allow you to get an insight of your customers behaviour. This gives you the information you need to perform follow-up customer development, so you can ask specific questions of individual customers.
Paul will give an overview of early start-up metrics (before product-market fit). Then we can have a discussion about how they could be applied to your start-up.
Now we have had some sessions on the basics of lean start-ups we are look at inviting external speakers either with relevant start-up stories or insight on slightly more advanced topics.
