Film at the Phoenix - Calvary

Meet to see the film Calvary. Meet at 6.45 film starts at 7.00

The new film from the writer and director of 2011’s The Guard is a masterful sophomore effort. Gleeson plays Father James Lavelle, a village priest told in the confession booth that he is going to be killed in 7 days. The unseen would-be murderer is hell-bent on revenge for past crimes committed by the church and has chosen James as a symbol to be destroyed. Left with a week to figure out which member of his flock wants him dead it becomes a whodunit of sorts, full of gallows humour but packing a wallop of emotional power. Gleeson is a performer of rare brilliance, and here his hang-dog expression and soulful eyes hint at the hidden depths of this parish priest.

Unfortunately i am a bit late. I am still at Oadby, then I am not in time for the movie. Please if you think to have a drink after, I will come for sure. See you!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
