Dec 15(Sat) Christmas Drama "A Man Called Jesus" & Cotton Grill, Lexington SC

  • Dec 15, 2012 · 11:00 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

Lake Murry Baptist Church 1001 Highway 378 W, Lexington, SC 29072

Since 1988, this Christmas Drama has grown from humble beginnings as an outdoor roadside nativity scene along SC Hwy 378 to this 24th year of production seating 2700 per show with live animals and grand stages. Spend the day with us in Lexington, South Carolina for the drama and dinner afterwards (on your own).

Dinner will be in Lexington's historic Old Mill at "Cotton Grill" a full service casual fine dining restaurant. Chef Jason Palmer's unique background in classical French & American cuisine comes alive on each dish. Guests of Cotton Grill enjoy an unparalleled atmosphere among our wooden ceilings and age old brick walls. Our full service bar and waterfront deck with our ever changing wines & spirits provides for both a relaxing and social setting. Pamper yourself in a delicious meal before the ride home. Preview the menu at this web site:

Return home is approx. 9pm or earlier.

Dinner will be on your own at Historic Cotton Grill Restaurant (waiting for confirmation of a special group menu or if we will use the regular menu. Either way, it will be delicious)!

This trip is now a CARPOOL trip since we did not get enough people to pay in advance for the motorcoach.

If you want to go, the cost is now FREE plus the cost of GAS for the Driver in your carpool. Would be very kind if we start including a couple extra dollars for the driver's time/energy to be the one using their car so they can use the extra money for their meal :)

Simply join in the conservations and write your comments if you are willing to drive and how many seats you have OR if you want to go and be a rider.

Suggested MEET UP locations for departure are

STONECREST Shopping Center in Ballantyne for South Charlotte AND IKEA Parking lot Section "H"

However, anywhere you agree is fine.

SHOW STARTS AT 2:30pm ((((( MUST Be there at least 1 hour prior to show time to get a seat)))))

Going to Cotton Grill early for lunch is a great idea. Just make sure you plan to get to the show at least 45 mins ahead (or earlier) because this fills up fast!
Some one will need to drive... POST HERE if you CAN DRIVE AND WHERE YOU WANT to depart from and how many seats you have avail. Everyone riding with pitch in gas money.

I would like to go but don't want to drive either. But if we did go it might be easier to go to lunch at the Cotton Grill so we could head back right after the show - since it gets dark so early these days.
