Metropolitan Ministries faithfully reaches out to poor, hungry and homeless men, women and children in their time of need — providing life-changing answers. Within their care, people find food, clothing, shelter, and other vital services year round. But more importantly they find compassion and hope – hope for a brighter day and future.
How we will LEND A HAND
Metropolitan Ministries has a variety of areas in which they need help year round. We could be sorting food in the food warehouse, sorting clothes in the clothes warehouse, preparing or serving food in the kitchen, helping out in the thrift store, or a variety of other things. We should be helping in the kitchen preparing food or serving the clients on this day, but we ask that you be flexible if we are needed in another area!
Schedule: 8:30am - 11:30am - Please plan to stay the entire time. Meet in the parking lot about 10 minutes early to meet each other and go in together. Sign in at the Family Care Center.

Please consider this seriously before you RSVP, it is very important that we have an accurate count a couple of days in advance to provide to the organization. Last-minute drop-outs are difficult to replace and reflect badly on our organization.
