I have experience working at BigBrothersBigSisters and working on degree in special education. Volunteer experience at trinity cafe and bayfest. Went to Romania to distribute new testaments in early 90's. Interesting when the army retrieves your baggage from the plane. Visited small villages and their version of retirement home and saw kids in the streets without homes. We are never done helping as long as we share the planet
Any areas where people in our society who are in need will be benefited.
I would like to help everyone. The people without homes have been more of my inspiration for volunteering. I am a naturally "bubbly" person and would also like to make people happy who aren't for whatever reason.
I learned of the group from the HandsOn Network Volunteer Opportunity.
Not everyone springs back and helping others is part of the process. One big world to be happy in while you are helping to clean it up! Everyone with a heart deserves to have happiness in it. I'm still breathing so paying it forward.
Lend a Hand is a working tool that helps to repair our local society, helping to meet the needs of less fortunate members for improvement of our society as a whole body.
