Hi there. My name is Moya. My partner and I are parents to a baby girl born in April. We live in SW London.

We are starting to emerge from the haze of nappies, breastfeeding and family visits to wonder about the practicalities of being a queer parent in London - interested in activities, support, ideas. Our expectation is of meeting some friendly people. I'm sure we'll all have different experiences and views but hope to gain from talking to others who are also thinking about how to handle nursery/ school professionals, other (non-queer) parents, and supporting our children to tackle society's issues.

Hello Girls :) how are things going? I guess it's much better than in the beginning ;) I was so happy to meet other mums, but I must be very unlucky as always something got on the way. If you find some time and your baby girl fancy having a little friend, then we are more than happy to meet you. We'll be in London until middle October and then we are off for 2 months to Mauritius but will be back after that :)
Hi there :)
I'm so happy for U and welcome :) and as U live so close to us it would be nice to catch up sometime :) our Antoinette is also saying hello :)
Hi Moya, we are doing well thank you, not pregnant yet, which is a shame but we have only had one round of IUI. L.W.C have been very good, We had an initial consultation with a doctor there who put us at ease. The nurses have always been really friendly and supportive. They do run introduction seminars (which are free) where you can find out more info. Keep us updated - I hope you get some good news soon! Hopefully will catch up face to face one day. Best of luck to you! Tanya and Mila x
Welcome to the group Moya, hope to see you at a meet up sometime soon!
