Buffalo-area Less Wrong meetups on the first Sunday and Third Thursday of every month, in 31 Capen Hall at the University at Buffalo - North Campus.
For this session I want to focus on one of the most important rationalist skills you'll need: curiosity. Its been called the "first virtue of rationality" or the basic "front kick" in rationality training. Eliezer once wrote: "A burning itch to know is higher than a solemn vow to pursue truth." This session we will find out how to reliably get curious.
