Recurring Jewell Park Play Dates!

This is a recurring play date. We realize there will be weeks when a lot of us will make it and some when we will not - but we got a number of requests to schedule this on a regular basis so we hope that at some point, everyone will be able to take advantage of it!!! As summer approaches, we may want to change the time to early morning to avoid the heat of the day. DIRECTIONS - PLEASE TAKE WITH YOU!! Jewell Park/Dog Park - Bellevue Ne Can be kinda tricky for some people to find if you are not familiar with Bellevue. Its quite hidden away! The park is nice, nothing fancy, not huge but plenty of space to run. There are now two fenced enclosures if any small or naughty dogs need to be seperated. There are not any bathrooms or water faucets. I will bring a large container of water for everyone and some balls for the pups. Its usually very quiet, even in the summer months - not many 'outsiders' come down this way. If you like to walk/bike on the trails there are plenty of those around also. Lots of wildlife to see! Coming from Omaha: Take I-80 to Kennedy Freeway/Hwy75 into Bellevue. Get off on the 370 exit and go left (east) until you come to the lights at the Galvin Street crossroad. (there will be a Walgreens on your right) Turn right (south) and continue until you reach the lights at Mission Avenue (Sinclair gas station). Turn left (east) onto Mission Avenue. Drive into Old Bellevue and turn left (north) onto Main Street. (if you hit the toll bridge/Haworth Park you went too far/back up a couple blocks). Keep North on Main Street from Mission Avenue. Past the Bellevue cemetary and College Heights residential entrance. Follow the road, at the end of all the trees, on your left, you will see a large parking area and the dog park. If you are going to GOOGLE it, you are best off just to Google 'Jewell Park, Bellevue NE' so you can see the map and the approximate area.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
