Let's Get Out Of Here!

This is a very active traveling group, with some hiking events as well. Because sometimes hiking and traveling go together. If you can't make that commitment at this time, join another time when you are ready.
If this doesn't interest you, this group is probably not for you. We do try to carpool, and most of the time we have regulars drivers who don't mind driving, but one day will be your turn. I expect everyone to be able to drive to an event, in case you can't get into a carpool. If you don't drive then it is your responsibility to get to the carpool area. All drivers will be accommodated for gas, you determine the cost since all cars are different.
We host local events for a chance to meet each other and form a friendship, before we travel out of town, out of state or out of country together.
Disclaimer: Due to Covid-19  when you RSVP to an event, each member must be prepare to drive their own car in case you can't get in a car. No one should feel it is their responsibility for taking members to an event, especially now.  This should have been the norm even before Covid, we are not Uber, Lyft or your personal Taxi.
If you and the person driving agree to carpool that is totally okay. If you are not the driver, you should be paying the driver, what is your fair share of the gas and be paid before you get in their car. This should be agreed upon before the event so no surprises arise. Covid numbers are rising in California and around our country, but we are still hosting events, with caution.
There will be times I have to set a limit on our groups, because of the venue. Not my fault, I want everyone to come!
You may wear a mask if you so do chose, to protect yourself and others around you. You should have hand sanitizer with you at all times. We have been practicing social distancing whenever we can.

You should only RSVP if you are going and your RSVP is an agreement that you are going at your own risk and you will not hold "Let's Get Out of Here,"responsible for any unforeseen circumstances.  Change your RSVP, as soon as you are not feeling well. But if you make a habit of changing your RSVP in the last few days, you will be moved to the wait-list.  Yes, some of you are making this your new habit, even before covid.  
We are trying our best to take care of you and still "get out." We want every member to stay SAFE and ALIVE!
All members must have a picture of yourself or you will be removed from the group. But may return with your posted picture. If you don't want to post a picture of yourself or join with a real name, please do not join this group. I will look for you at an event, not your dog, or a cartoon or your child, I want to meet you!

Please don't forget 3 No Shows, and you will be Banned from the group. We want active members not place holders.
You are joining this group because it seems interesting to you, you are allowed to leave anytime you want. I have the right to accept you or remove you if I don't see that you are a good fit, for the group. I wish everyone was a good fit, but in reality that doesn't always happen.
Too many rules? I'm sorry but many situations have come up in the past, that forces me to lay down rules.

Nothing to do? Nowhere to go? Quit complaining, take action.
I just moved to Fresno; everyone told me, you MUST check out the Tower District. I did, I even moved into the neighborhood. Conclusion, it's pretty lame. A few bars, a couple of decent restaurants, a coffee and a tea shop. It's not that it's that bad, but I moved from Las Vegas.
Rather than dwell in misery, I say, Let's Get Out Of Here.
The intent of this group is to organize a fun, adventurous group to frequently travel to various cities; San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, and all the places in between.
