Hi all,

Some of us have been interested in learning how to Tole Paint. The local tole painting shops have been closed for some time and I have not been able to find anyone.

I struck gold last night.

Susan Lockwood and her husband make woodworked items and she teaches folks how to paint them. She has been doing it for a some years. They live in the Berryessa area of San Jose and work from home.

She currently is teaching classes on Tuesday evenings from 5-8, Thurs evenings from 6-9 and Thursday mornings from 9-12. Get this, she charges $15 for the whole 3 hours. The price does not include supplies, but you can bring your own. They do sell everything, in case you do not have any supplies. The project she is going to help me with is a bee, teapot and clothepins design and that will cost me $7.50. I think the price is GREAT!

Their website is;
Her phone number is[masked]

I have tentatively made arrangements with her to attend the Thursday AM class (9-12) on October 15th. This is not a MeetUp event, just a 'for your information'!

I was so excited to find her, I just wanted to share it with everyone.
