Childhood Obesity Bay Area Conference

Join Slow Food San Francisco for it's first Annual Childhood Obesity Bay Area Conference. Wide ranging discussion will provide a more complete understanding of the issue, and food for thought on the challenges faced by individuals and different professions working to address the issue. The day will include a keynote address from David Kessler, MD., and Alan Greene, M.D., two speaker panels, focused break out sessions, lunch from Whole Foods Market, a slam poetry performance, and a reception with food from Bi-Rite Market and wine from Topel Winery. Registration is $100, with limited discounted tickets and scholarships also available. Funds raised will go to underwrite the cost of the conference and to benefit our Youth Food Education Program.
