All - we have been invited by the Ozark Mountain Paddlers to join them this Saturday for a paddle on the James. Ozark Mountain Paddlers is a non-profit club and is open to the public. You don't have to be a member to join them on a float or come to our events. We want to help people get on the water and to enjoy it safely.

March Twelve Rivers Float
Saturday, March 16th, 2013
“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man” ~ Heraclitus
I’m always amazed at how much a river can change in a short amount of time. With that in mind, I'm running the same stretch of river once a month for a year. I’m calling it the Twelve Rivers Float, and the series will continue this coming Saturday, March 16th.
We’ll meet at Crighton Access on the James, just east of Springfield on Battlefield Rd (Kinser Bridge area) at 9 AM, run shuttle to Southwood Access on Lake Springfield, and try to be on the water by 10. Should be off by 1-2.
Bring your boat and gear, some warm clothes and a snack and join us as we continue our exploration of a river that's in our own backyard!
