New Years Day at Lost Valley

From: Jim D.
Sent on: Monday, December 31, 2012 7:15 PM

The weather report for Lost Valley for tomorrow is partly cloudy with temps in the low to mid 30's and only a 20% chance of rain.  Dress accordingly.

There was approx. a half inch of rain at Lost Valley today so the water falls should be flowing.

The highlight of this hike is the Cave.  For those of you who have not hiked Lost Valley, you will need a light source such as:  Head lamp, Lantern, or Flashlight.  To get to the Cave you have to navigate a crawl space for 50 to 100 yards and it is PITCH BLACK.  You will need a light source.  Inside the Cave is totally dark.

See you at 8:45 a.m. at the Fast N Friendly at Evans Rd. and Hwy 65.  The drive to Lost Valley is approx. 2 hours.

Jim
