Lexington Tech Forum - May Meeting

This month's topics will be a review of some important changes affecting several popular I.T. certifications, especially the CompTIA certifications, and also a discussion and demo of Mobile Device Management. If your company has more than zero mobile devices connecting to your network or email system, Mobile Device Management is something that's arguably as important as having a firewall or backup software. Come find out how much damage can be done by a single lost mobile device if you don't have a Mobile Device Management solution in place...

Some of the CompTIA certifications have important deadlines coming up in December (Those include A+, Net+, and Security+).

As always, there will be time for networking and open topics. If you have found something that you think that others in the group cannot live without, please come prepared to share. Time is available toward the end of the meeting to present tough I.T. problems you may be having to the group that others can help solve.

If you tell the Gatti Town cashier that you are with the "Microsoft Group" they will give you our group rate. We meet in one of the meeting rooms to the left once you pass the two dining rooms with projection screens. Directions and more information can be found here: http://gattitownlexington.com/

We need topics and presenters for June and July. Please contact the group administrator if you would like to present, or suggest a topic.

If you would like to help cover some of the group's costs for the Meetup page and other expenses, please see the donation link on the left side of our Meetup page for more information.

I always learn something, even if it's off topic.
