Lez Read is a Politics and Prose sponsored book group.

The goal of this book group is to read a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction books on lesbian and queer themes or titles that were written by lesbian or queer-identified writers. While it helps to have read the book in advance of the meeting, it is not specifically required.  You should feel free to join the group if you just want to listen or hang out with other queer women.

Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm at Politics and Prose Bookstore, 5015 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20008.

If you have any questions or would like further information about Lez Read, please e-mail: sskirboll@politics-prose.com

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
