Farm Fresh

Our theme this month is seasonal produce. Let's take advantage of those farmer's markets.  Seasonal produce tastes the best.

Each dish should highlight some seasonal fruits and/or veggies.  They should be the star of the dish! But it does not have to be vegetarian.

We will be outside mainly.  So because of that, I will be starting later.  After the sun goes down somewhat and the fly festival has mellowed.

Please bring a bottle of wine that complements the meal. Any unopened bottles are gifts to host for hosting.

I do have 3 evil puppies (small) that like to liven things up. I will tell them to be on their best party behavior. 


And to reiterate the rules, cuz somebody always asks:

We are a cooking club so the items should be unique and/or gourmet and/or have an interesting twist and definitely homemade.  

Only guests who are  spouses / significant others (i.e. long term relationships) are allowed to attend.  No other guests are allowed without the explicit approval of Theresa and Daphne before RSVPing for guest.

    Hmmm. I may end up doing a last minute change to main dish.
    depends on how much time i have to try out pasta attachments. And I have a lavender sirop that I bought in San Juan Capistrano. So may use that in the cocktail.
