Introduction
Hi, My name is Pam Swetmon. I have attended several meetings and really enjoy the commonalities I have with the group.
Please tell us a little about yourself.
After a 32 year career in Juvenile Justice I retired in 2008. I reside in McKinney, Texas. i have four children who reside near by and eight beautiful grandchildren ranging in age from 21 to 8 years of age. I enjoy politics, reading, photography, remodeling, yoga, and running.
Why are you joining this group?
It is refreshing to associate with a group of intelligent, progressively liberal women. When I worked and even after retirement I have been surrounded by conservative friends and family. I felt as if I found a treasure after attending my first LLWL! It has given me a sounding board for my concerns about the conservative mind-set and my fears for the future of our state and our country.
This group is for TRUE liberals or progressives. Does that describe you?
