Thanks! It wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it was worse than originally thought. Our first floor apartment is at the bottom of the hill/driveway/parking lot. Usually the wall between the parking area and our apartment diverts and drains the water into the creek behind our apartment. Apparently we caught part of the nasty storm that hit North Phoenix and the system couldn't handle it. The water flooded up into the sidewalk and about 4" of the building itself! We weren't flooded but we did wind up with soaked carpet in the entry area, part of the living room, the kitchen and the den (and a lovely odor - bleah). We have the den emptied and jammed into the dry part of the living room, and currently 3 of those industrial blowers drying out the carpet before they come back and finish up tomorrow. Just glad it wasn't worse!

For those still attending: I just got a call from Mark when he for home that we had some water damage in our apartment, so I'm heading home.

I will try to get there. Serious flooding on Scottsdale Road, so had to cancel lunch plans.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
