Human Trafficking is an ever growing problem, not just abroad but here in the U.S. where over 100,000 are victims of human trafficking. You are invited to attend an Ice Cream Social sponsored by The Arizona Section of National Council of Jewish woman to hear about the problem globally, nationally and locally. You will have a chance to ask questions of some of the people who are working here in AZ to combat this problem.
While this program is free, donations to Project ROSE (Reaching Out to the Sexually Exploited) will be gratefully accepted. Project ROSE is a joint effort of ASU’s School of Social Work, the Phoenix Police Department, and community social services agencies by offering hope and assistance to victims of sex trafficking. They are in need all sizes of t-shirts, underwear, flip-flops and toiletries.
