The Great Debate: Climate Change

Are we beyond the tipping point for survivable climate change? How will our nation survive the coming food and national security threats tied to climate change?

Come learn what the experts are saying and how your life may be impacted as our world continues to change. Esteemed scientists and world leaders include:

NOAA–Susan Solomon;
NASA-Jim Hansen;
Columbia University-Wally Broecker;
Homeland Security–Alice Hill;
UK Special Representative–John Ashton;
GIO-ASU–Sander Van Der Leeuw.

Join this interesting discussion of the future of our nation and the world in our changing climate. A book signing will follow.

Tickets on sale in January at the ASU Gammage Box Office and Student tickets will be available at the ASU Gammage Box Office. Contact [masked] with questions.

*All events and panelists are subject to change without notice.

Tickets on sale Monday, January 7th: $19.90 or $33.75 + fees

This event is not General Admission seating, so it's unlikely we'd be sitting together, but:

We can meet at the ASU Memorial Union Food Court at 5:00 for coffee or light dinner (your choice), which is walking distance to the Gammage before the lecture.

For those interested after the lecture we can meet at Chilli's, 801 South Mill Avenue (about a 1/2 north, SE corner of Mill & University).

Please state in your RSVP whether you plan on being at either the pre- or post- event meets. And please keep your RSVP current.

Thanx! :-)

    It was informative an interesting panel. Most of it was information we knew already from "An Inconvenient Truth" - just that it's gotten worse.

    Are you meeting on the mail level food court before the debate? I am going and would like to meet with you and walk to theater.

      That's the place. I'll post which restaurant I'll be in front of as the time gets closer. :-)
