Election Research

Hi to all,

I spend most of today working on gathering information for the upcoming general election. I researched all the Propositions, and found a list of Maricopa County judges who are supported by the progressive liberal group, AZNETROOTS. Of course, my investigation and list are not the end all of knowledge, and everyone should do their own research before determining their vote; but I thought I would share my research with the group in the hope that it might make your personal decision making easier; not trying to tell anyone how to vote. The first page of the PDF gives you an easy-to-understand overview of each proposition and reviews some of the “hidden agendas” that tell you what the proposition is really about. The second page lists the judges that AZNETROOTS lists as worthy of your liberal YES vote.

---------------------------------

Additionally, I thought that I’d share that AZNETROOTS is associated with an informal, inclusive progressive social group called Drinking Liberally (http://livingliberally.org/drinking/). According to their website Drinking Liberally gives like-minded, left-leaning individuals a place to talk politics. You don't need to be a policy expert and this isn't a book club - just come and learn from peers, trade jokes, vent frustration and hang out in an environment where it's not taboo to talk politics.”  They meet in Phoenix, Tempe, and Scottsdale (see below) if anyone from our group would be interested in joining them.
