If you are tired of paying ridiculous fees for the "privilege" of having access to your money, join MoveOn.org's day of action this November 5th.
"The event will begin at 9am when the banks open, and continue until 1pm when many of the banks start to close for the day. Some of us are in the process already of opening new accounts with Credit Unions. If you decide to do this, check to see if the Credit Union is connected with any of the Big Banks. Then, during the event, we will close our accounts with the Big Banks.
We also want to raise awareness of all the fees Bank of America is now charging their customers in hopes of exciting the customers to pull their money out. Education is seen as the main tool to convince people this is a proper course of action to take against the banks. People are also disgusted by the robo-foreclosures that have been occurring. Arizona is the poster child of what the foreclosure crisis did to America."
