The Haunted Walking Tour

Stroll through the oldest part of St. Louis with David Riordan, a world class storyteller whose family has lived here for over 180 years. You will be surprised and entertained as you hear strange, bizarre, and spooky stories from the past including the Great St. Louis Fire, the Exorcism that sparked the famous movie, the Cholera epidemic, Bloody Island and much more. The tour will depart from Morgan Street brewery and weave a path through the Landing and St. Louis Arch grounds.

For those concerned, this is not a grueling walk in distance or pace. The tour last about an hour and 40 minutes so we will be done early enough for those that have to work the next day. It should be fun and just in time to get you in the Halloween spirit. You must rsvp by October 4th. Please remember a couple of things. First, just because you may look at your group and only see 10 rsvp's (for example) it does not mean only 10 are going so there is plenty of space available. This invite is going to multiple groups and they may have people going as well. So act quickly if you want to go. Second, I enjoy the comments left on events but writing a comment does not constitute an rsvp. As an example, don't comment "this sounds like fun, I might have to check it out" and then not hit the rsvp button because I'm not a mind reader and I don't know if you are coming or not. I go by the rsvp count. If it fills, I will have a waiting list.

For those that are going, I will send you info on obtaining your tickets. Cost is $15.00

My first meet up with this group was a lot of fun. a little cold but fun. Thanks Randy for the time you spent organizing the tour.

The tour was great and so were the people who braved the cold.

I understand Randy's frustration. When you organize an event, sometimes you do need people to do things by a certain date. I can't go, but one of these days I will be able to. See you soon!

Cristina, enough already, ok? I had my say which was sent to everyone, not you personally. Maybe others feel as you do but you have been the only one in the "intelligent" community to just keep harping on how I somehow picked you out and were mean too. I wish you would just get over it and move on as I have done. You had your say. If for some reason you want to continue your tirade at least extend the courtesy to your fellow members to e-mail me directly and not litter their inboxes with this foolishness. I don't intend to. We ended up having a great time (albeit cold). Too bad you decided to miss it.

I wish you would not make this "conversation"
a tirade Randy. I hope community e-mails show less frustration in the future. All I asked was to buy a ticket and expressed an opinion to the response. I am very glad you all had a good time last night.

The tour and the tour guide David, were excellent. He was very entertaining and informative on so many Ghoulish Facts of St Louis's Spooky History.

The tour guide was talented, that's for sure, to hold people's interest in the bloody freezing cold! Fun and interesting, but I got cold and ran away to my car the minute it was over!

How do I get my $15.00 ticket?

I was wondering if anyone going to the Haunted Tour was coming from anywhere near 270 & 30 (Gravois). I have a new meetuper that lives near House Springs and would appreciate hooking up with someone along the way (such as the commuter lot 270 & 30 to ride into the city with. Let me know.

Who wouldn't want to walk around in the evening in old, crazy places, especially close to Halloween?
