Trivia Night for Liberals and Boomers - for an important cause!

Please help support a fellow Liberal Boomer member!

One of our fellow Meetup members, Tony Evans is a long time volunteer and Board member for the Institute for Peace & Justice (IPJ). The IPJ has been active for more than 40 years with hands-on programming in social justice and non-violence issues. The IJP relies on two fund raisers a year to help fund their mission. This trivia night is one of them.

It should be a good time with questions covering a wide spectrum of category's. There will also be prizes, an auction, snacks & beverages and you can bring in food and drink. Cost is $20.00

You can go by yourself or bring in a table full. Contact Tony directly to arrange your participation or if you have any questions. His number is[masked] and e-mail is [masked].

So please help Tony and the IPJ with the wonderful work they do. For more info on IPJ go to htt:// or check them out on Facebook. Tony also wanted to pass along this info, "if the Cards have not already beat the Dodgers there will be a TV there to keep up on the action of game 7".

I've been asked about IPJ's programs. For instances include: work with ex-offender women, coming out of the criminal justice system, needing mentors and positive self disciplines to help them return to community and family. And work with youth in the community on the culture of gun violence, using performance art programming based on Martin Luther King, Jr. The IPJ does serious hands on work that makes a difference.

I hope you'll consider attending this fun evening!
