That 80's Band @ Manchester Days

That 80’s Band @ Manchester Days

If you have the chance, check out Manchester’s annual 3 day festival which runs on the 5th, 6th, and 7th of September. There is always plenty to do. We are planning to go Friday evening to watch the popular “That 80’s Band”. They will be performing starting at 7:30 and they are a great band to “get your groove on” with J. The show is free and I assume will be in under the big tent in the middle of all the action. There are tables and chairs and we will get there a bit early to grab a table or two. If you want to grab something to eat but are not a fan of festival fare, I suggest grabbing something from Callier’s deli and bringing it along. There are tons of place to grab a bite. Callier’s just happens to be a favorite of mine in case you need a suggestion.

I hope you will join us. It’s fun and free to get in plus I think you will enjoy the change of pace of music.

Sorry I got there too late to find parking close and the rain was starting. Way to go for all of you sticking it out....I'm sure the band was great and I missed a good time.

I assume that the Schroeder Park lot is filled with carnival rides. I think I remember that entering from the west, on St. Joseph lane has parking on the fields of the church. What I don't know is whether people bring lawn chairs or blankets, bringing their own refreshments or not? Anyone know?

Liz, As is the case with most festivals, there are food and drink booths. We are planning to meet in the tent which has tables and chairs. However, they are a popular band so seats will fill. You can bring both or neither. We are going to grab a bite before coming and traveling light but it is up to you.

Looking forward to seeing some of you this evening at Manchester Days to see That 80's Band. There are about 30 of us going combined from all 3 groups. Look for us under the tent and look for the table tents. If you have problems or get lost, call my cell [masked]

I am giving a friend a much needed evening of respite by sitting with her mother so she can go out for the first time in a couple of years. This sounds like fun!! Enjoy!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
