Thanks Carl, interesting video. That is the same Thom Hartmann I was thinking of. He works for RT, which is the Russian-gov't-sponsored news network in the US, somewhat analagous to the Voice of America propaganda the US gov't broadcasts to other countries. I often watch both RT and Al-Jazeera, recognizing they are both propaganda outlets for foreign gov'ts. I find it instructive, hearing their views at times helps me recognize and isolate the propaganda & spin on the US gov't networks like Fox, CNN, ABC, etc.

Carl, I appreciate your desire to contribute to Meetup organizer dues, but unfortunately I cannot find in Meetup any method for a non-organizer to pay Meetup directly without trusting the organizer (me). While I personally consider myself trustworthy, you are welcome to attend as many meetings as you want before you decide whether I am trustworthy enough to accept cash from you. I have sufficient income to cover Meetup organizer dues comfortably even if no one donates, so please do not feel obligated to donate if your funds are limited.

Thank you for the pleasant "response."

It reinforces the laid back "vibes" I got from the meeting, and the positive electromagnetic fields (auras - http://www.collective...), you both displayed.

My experiences has made me wealthy, and because of my service-connected chronic combat injuries/disabilities, am also financially stable enough to help with dues.

How much are your meetup dues?

$72 every 6 months (http://help.meetup.co...) - My account will be charged again in January 2014. I am considering adding a PayPal donation option for those who don't own Bitcoin.
