      “ The gathering was pleasant but the election results were discouraging for we of the LP persuasion. ”

      “ I was upset that we had two election night parties, we should have had one closer to John's or along with John's. It would have opened up Johns multi-partisan supporters to some of our ideas and people and shown Libertarians how to elect a Libertarian to office. John brings pragmatic solutions, with a strong libertarian foundational belief system, to the table and gets the voice of freedom heard by the Democrats and Republicans in power, while the more radical Libertarians continue to receive 1, 3, 5 and occasionally 10 or 11 percent election after election. It's time for the radicals to keep their fire, but learn that pragmatism and deal making will ultimately lead to a majority of Libertarians in our houses of government and then we will certainly enjoy much more freedom than we have ever enjoyed in our lifetimes. ”
