Join us as we conduct a Class with Open Discussion on How to Approach the Upcoming Local Races with some experience & new ideas.

Topics will include the following: How much of Your Time & Energy the various positions require. The benefits to running - learning about yourself and the process, plus sinking your roots in the community.  Laws & Rules for running in Local Elections -- differences between Local Vs State. What hurdles to anticipate -- How to best get over, or avoid altogether.

Campaigning - combining historical experience w/ ideas for new methods like social media. We hope many of our younger folks will come out ready to learn & participate.  Knowing your Opposition -- the Best Approach (Knowledge, Tactics, being Smart).  Campaigning to Win - Signing up friends to help. Money, money money -- How much and how to get it? Do I need to find Deep Pockets? Which 527 Orgs will help me?  What to Expect once YOU DO WIN.

We've invited 2 Veterans in Politics, in Adams County and CO, to conduct the class: Nikki Gullette & Jeannie Reeser.

Nikki brings to the table 25 years in Adams County politics. She’s run or was heavily involved in a total of 9 campaigns - 5 winning. She’s been a District Captain for 10 years and a PCP for 25 years.

Jeannie is a former State Representative HD32 (Thornton, Commerce City) 14 years [masked]). Other positions she’s held are Chief Deputy Treasurer of Adams County (4 years), Adams County Public Trustee (for Gov. Bill Owens) 4 years, Chair of the Community College Board. She’s presently President of Adams County Republican Women, PCP and DC in HD 31. She’s also worked on many successful campaigns: Jeannie rounds all this out with being an Elementary School Teacher for 12 years.

Thanks to those who’ve been participating & contributing to our events at Charlotte’s. For those who’ve not been able to make it, we’re here when you can come. We continue to grow by leaps & bounds thanks to folks inviting their friends. We so appreciate that growth and will continue to bring people together in Liberty.
