Brett,

Why do we need meetup.com?  It sounds like your time, not just cost are concerns to look elsewhere.

Can't one scheduler just schedule the tennis group at her/his location via an email distribution list?

I offer to schedule meetings at my Lake County complex that has 4 clay courts and 6 concrete.

thanks,
ed

Hi All,

Firstly, thanks a lot to all of you joining this club and I hope you are enjoying it a lot. Unfortunately for me, it seems with a very busy job and 2 young kids, my time availability is very low and have not been out to hit much at all.

I can continue the subscription on meetup, but would like to answer some small $$ contributions from the members to cover the monthly cost ($20) on meetup.com. Otherwise, I would like to request someone else take over the monthly subscription on meetup and organize with the members how the $$ will be sorted out to make it fair. I definitely don't want to profit from this, but moving forward would like either me or another person who is the official organizer to not have to pay all the costs out of their own pocket.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks.
Brett
