Welcome! Please tell us a little more about yourself so we can best help you. Have you meditated before? How often do you meditate? What techniques or methods have you practiced? What are you looking for - how can we help you? :)

I am an avid practitioner of meditation. I have experienced many passive meditative techniques as well as a good month of Osho's active meditations. I find that sometimes it is easier for me to achieve the state of no mind, after a good hard yoga asana practice. Whenever my mind tries my patience, or when my emotions begin to boil over... I find my greatest tool to regain control and center is meditation. I have found that it is an integral tool in my personal development... and I always remain open to experiencing other techniques and or atmospheres conducive to experiencing no- mind. I am excited to learn from others, and I know I could always use a good excuse to participate in group meditation techniques. I am a yoga teacher as is my wife, and we both find that being parents to babies and toddlers is Karma yoga. *It tries our patience and stretches us to our limits... we aspire to be better yoga practitioners, and know that practice makes perfect. We could use more meditation.


I am a 28 year old Husband, Father of 2, and a yogi. I just spent 4 months in India, and have been home about 1 month. I live on Vashon Island, and am using meetup to connect more with like minded people in our community. I love all 8 limbs of yoga!
