Hi Eamon, I am a complete beginner when it comes to drawing, but i really want to give it a go. Will I struggle with the session?

Paper is available but is in quite large sheets at 20p a sheet - you may prefer a sketchbook to start off small. Charcoal is traditional but breaks and smudges easily and spray fixative is discouraged in the building. I prefer colour pencil Derwent Coloursoft Faber Castell or Lyra giants rather than graphite as they do not smudge. But for a first try out any 2 or 3B pencil would be good.
