Life drawing in Waterloo SE1 - join us! £8 a session

Drop-in life drawing for all levels of ability, held at the centrally located Waterloo Action Centre.  This meet up is untutored, but advice is available. We are a small, friendly group and welcoming to newcomers.

We will have a range of poses, from 5 minutes up to 30 minutes, with a short break half way through the session.  Model: HENRY

Cost: £8.00 for 1hr and 45 minutes.  Bring own materials, though a limited supply of A3 paper, pencils, sharpeners and A3 sized drawing boards are available for free if you forget to bring your things.

Join through meet up or come on the night.

I look forward to seeing you!

Directions for first-timers: if main wooden doors to venue are open, enter the gallery, walk straight ahead and we are on the second door on the left. If the main wooden doors are locked shut, walk through the gate on the left, enter the courtyard and go through the first dark blue door on the right. I usually arrive at the venue at 6.30 p.m. to set up - if you arrive earlier than this please note you may have to wait for me to arrive before you can enter our meeting space.

Sorry I need to eat something and I don't think I will in time. I would like to check this one out soon though.

No problem Duncan, there's nothing worse than drawing on an empty stomach! I hope you can make it to a future session ...

Hi Olga, watercolours are fine, as are all other materials, though do bring newspaper to protect the floor ... Best, Irene

Hello! Can materials be any? For example, if I like watercolour painting can I bring them or are pencils more preferrable? Thanks:)

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
