Looking for something fun to do this weekend, rain or shine? Lifespan Society has a booth at this year's Vancouver Mini Maker Faire. Last year, we attended with the Vancouver Transhumanism Association, and this year we are striking out on our own! Come check us out Saturday or Sunday at the PNE Forum. We will be giving out Lifespan wristbands (come by and pick one up) and offering discounts on new memberships and the chance to win membership free for a year. Current Lifespan members are eligible to receive discounted entry fees to the Faire (contact Keegan Macintosh or Julie Saucier before 5 p.m. on May 31 for the discount code), and non-members can get their ticket for free if they apply for Lifespan membership at lifespanbc.ca (and pay $30 member dues). Please contact Keegan or Julie if you are interested.
The Maker Faire coordinators are expecting 4000 people to attend - don't miss out on this great event that features some cutting edge tech makers, artists and inventors. Learn more about the Mini Maker Faire at http://www.makerfaire.ca
See you there!
