Transhumanism is a philosophy that is firmly grounded within the doctrines of technological possibility and biological evolution; a conglomerate of similar ideologies that challenges us - the creative collective - to conceive possible futures saturated with images of sociological maturity and intellectual cultivation - provided to us in full by advances in biotechnology and emerging cyber -consciousness. As an individual suffering from the effects and vices of a neurological disability (Autism), the Transhumanist movement has the potential to create both opportunity and effective rehabilitation to those whose lives have been shattered and blighted by neurological trauma. Neural stem cell systems and electrode neuro-maps are just two of the strategies currently being researched by laboratories the world over; the Transhumanist revolution possesses both the will and vision, to bring such fledgling techniques into a broader socio-economic mindset. In short: Transhumanism stands for hope.
