View HTML flyer What do a sleek fast jet plane housed at a remote runway, a leggy hot blonde, several nondescript briefcases and a man in dark shades have in common? Joerg Lehmann and Martha are teaming up again, this time to produce a series of campy high-style magazine looks using strobe and spot lighting. Special permission has been given the Renegades to photograph at South County Airport. Yes, it's a hike, but it's going to be worth it! This workshop will teach the art of location strobe lighting using on and off-camera flash, plus other equipment such as flash triggers, gels, grids, softboxes, reflectors and more. Various lighting scenarios will be provided with multiple wireless channels for flash automation. Instruction will be taught at an advanced skill level, but any photographer familiar with their camera's settings should feel at ease. Saturday, April 17, 10am - 3pm If you have attended a paid Renegade program in the past and would prefer to mail a check in advance, email me.

For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the male model... "The Man in Black"?

That was a fun day with everyone involved... I was surprised that we had gotten all those "sets" done in the time allowed. Thanks to Martha, Joerg for putting it together. Lee for the use of the aircraft and of course, both the models for their work and effort this afternoon.

I had a blast today because it's something different from what I normally shoot... Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Excellent. I don't know how she does it, but she puts together some very informative and fun shoots.

Question...do we need to bring an extra gear, i.e. reflectors, etc. with us Martha? Or ????

I know I started the thread about carpooling, but I will have to drive myself. Got plans after the workshop. See you all there!

Hello gang. There are a few participants interested in carpooling (one from San Bruno and one from San Fran). I will attempt to coordinate with those offering to drive or be a 'pay for gas' passenger.

Anybody want to carpool? I'm coming from the San Bruno Area!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
