Hello! My name is Sherry Shrallow and I have come to learn about the benefits of a whole foods oil free plant-based way of eating after having had a heart attack at age 56 that nearly took my life. I was of normal weight, ate what I thought was a heart healthy diet and exercised daily. Yet it still happened to me. Because of this life changing event I embarked on a new way of eating with no animal products or processed oils in my diet based on the work of Cleveland Clinic physician Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn who wrote Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease. I also received my certificate in plant-based nutrition from e-Cornell University and the T. Colin Campbell Foundation. I will be cooking with organic foods (whenever possible) and look forward to teaching you how to make some tasty plant-based meals that we will share together at the end of class. There will be a $10 fee to cover the cost of the food. Looking forward to meeting others who are committed to living the healthiest lifestyle possible. Limit of 15 per class.
