Let me count the ways . . . It's like a reoccuring dream of climbing cliffs with a magic rope. It is a fluid state of mind, full of twists & turns, meditative and yet deceptively technical sometimes, but then not at all. You must focus and look down, alot, and it requires strength, skill and dexterity in your whole being. When you fail, well, it's a quick drop back to reality, but you get to start over. Occasionally, it's a nightmare and your eyes burn, but sometimes the dream is real, and you finish a beautiful piece and arrive at a fantastic place. Often the best distance between 2 points is a sinuous line.
Love hardly covers it.
Drawing is as close to Zen as I may ever get.
Special but informal, unique, great energy and people, excellent models, good lighting, many viewpoints and great music . . .
